Ms. Stavropoulos sang, “The Dance of Zalongo,” under the direction of Musical Director Maria Eleni Zollo, during this commemorative evening honoring the women of Souli. This event was produced by Maria Constantinides in conjunction with the Heritage Museum of Epirus, complete with lecture, film, and performance. This performance highlighted the bravery of Greek women during the Ottoman occupation of Greece.
